We happened upon Choctaw Hall as we were looking for a weekend getaway cottage in Natchez, Mississippi. We were visiting Natchez so often since the 1980's, charmed by its preservation, rich history, and kind people that we longed for our own little place to call home away from home at Marlsgate in Arkansas. We took a wrong turn, saw the for sale sign, realized its 11,608 sq ft was more than what we had imagined... but it was love at first sight and we couldn't look away.

Two years later,  on March 26, 2014, we became the new owners of Choctaw Hall. Fall Pilgrimage 2015 was our first time to be "on tour" with Natchez Pilgrimage Tours... and the rest is history.

Choctaw Hall was built around 1836 and features a blend of Greek Revival to Federal styles. There are 4 floors and with the Bed and Breakfast's four bedrooms residing on the ground floor with separate entrances from the main top three floors of the home which are connected by an swirling oval staircase. Double porches with white columns bookend the front and back of house making every scene a picture perfect backdrop.
